Everton Genealogical Helper - another commercial site; they want you to give them your data in GEDCOM format and they'll let you download FREE software which you can use, other services for fee; it's not the best software but it's free.
Ancestry Home Town - another commercial site with some free information, others require subscriptions. .
Family Tree Maker - A popular but very commercial site offering the very best software for sale; these folks want you to give them your lineage and then they they sell it in their pricey CDs. But there's a lot to see on FTM's site and it's worth the trip if you haven't visited before..

The American Colonists Library Primary Documents of Western Civilization
An excellent and valuable collection of historical works which contributed to the formation of American politics, culture, and ideals It's a massive collection of the literature and documents which were most relevant to the colonists' lives in America. If it isn't here, it probably is not available online anywhere. This isn't genealogy, it's history. A five star site!
If you love history and Americana, you'll love this federal site. Great instructions on how to get information from federal sources. It's fun too.
