sorry i haven't got back to you sooner i'm a little busy working two full time jobs plus tring to do research.ok-my wifes grandfather(my motherinlaws father)was Elmo Thomas Whitten who was the son of Charles B.Whitten mother was Emma Sheldon Whitten his grandfather was Berry Whitten and grandmother was Louise Troutman Whitten. Elmo was born Jan.2,1904 in Rutledge Ga. had a sister Sara Ford  lived in Memphis Tenn. and a brother -don't know name but died at age 40. Elmo had 3 girls 2 are still living  and 1 died.hope this helps out keep in touch.
